Day 265 - Yet Another Beach Day
Friday, March 29th, 2019.
Today we went back to the deserted resort lounge chairs. We were the only ones there and I love it! We did the same thing that we have been doing all week: eat, swim, read, sleep, internet!
It has been a fantastic week of relaxation, almost no planning, and nothing to do.
After dinner, Gregory and I went for a walk on the beach where we saw bioluminescent plankton sparkling in the water and on the sand. It was magic. Gregory called them sea fairies! We walked to the Aureum Resort with the overpriced lounges where we sat for a while and used their internet. We didn't see any guests at all!
My only concern these days is that I have been contacted by preschools and the Encinitas Community Center asking me if I plan to teach Spanish in the fall. I'm actually happy and proud that they want me but I'm not sure if I should go back and continue to do the same thing that I was doing.
Last night I dreamt that I was with my aunt Rochi and while she was holding her baby, I was telling her how much I missed being in the classroom and how much I love children. I think that's a sign that I should continue but on the other hand, we really need money and preschool teachers aren't exactly well paid so... It's time to start looking for jobs or at least start asking around if there is a good job for me!
