Day 39 - Nantes, a Quiet Day

It rained last night, hallelujah! Finally a break from the heat wave. It is much cooler and we were able to close the windows and get a good night's sleep without the outside noise. We were going to go to Angers to show the kids where we lived after we left Italy but we were all tired that we decided to stay home and rest. This made Daniel, my stay-at-home kid, very happy. Me too, I have to agree. It feels nice not having to run anywhere and just enjoy staying home. We had a late breakfast and used the morning for writing, well, that's me. Daniel watched a movie, Gregory looked for tickets from Paris to Marseille, our next destination.
Later that afternoon, Gregory and I went out for a walk to downtown. We had a drink in a very nice cafe while we heard the church bells ringig for more than 5 minutes. We also stopped at the grocery store, which has become almost a routine and then we took the tram back home. Daniel stayed home and told us that he talked with his friends in the US. Sunshine, went to visit Montesquieu's chateau. We will pick her up tomorrow at the bus station.
We watched an American movie at night. It was very funny to hear Ben Stiller speak French!
